Alice in Wonderland

For Bailey's birthday party, she chose an Alice in Wonderland theme. Her mom, my friend Amy, went all out with the decorating, so I wanted to make sure this cake was everything she wanted and more! This was a challenging but very fun cake to make and I was thrilled with the end result.

The cake was a french vanilla with vanilla buttercream and included a layer of red velvet cake with a cream cheese filling. The teapot was made of rice crispie treats and covered in fondant. All flowers and decorations were made from fondant and gum paste.

Cain Wedding

I had the privilege of making the wedding cake for Cheryl and Chris, who after 14 years, FINALLY got married! ;)
The cake was a french vanilla with vanilla buttercream. The flowers were all made from fondant and gum paste.

Longaberger Party

My friend Kaye was hosting a Longaberger Party and asked if I would make a basket cake for the event. This cake was a french vanilla with buttercream. My amazing mother was in town for this one and helped to make all the flowers for the top. Thank you, mom! I love you and credit ALL of my baking abilities to YOU!
Best part of all was that I received a "thank you basket" from Kaye! It is beautiful and I love it!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Jake & Luke!

To celebrate the 2nd birthday of Jake and Luke, Vickie requested a Dora cake and told me to "run with it". This was a vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream. All decorations were made out of fondant.

Happy 40th Patrick!

My friend Stephanie was throwing a surprise 40th for her husband, Patrick. I was told that not only is Patrick not a "cake person" but that when he does eat cake, the only kind he will eat is Publix....until he had a Sweet Tooth cake. His favorite Sweet Tooth cake is the french vanilla with vanilla buttercream and fresh strawberries! Happy 40th, Patrick!

Autumn Themed Cake

I was thrilled and honored when Jane Smith of the Union Congregational Church asked me to be the "featured baker" for their church weddings. They are participating in the Bridal Expo and put on a "faux wedding" to take pictures which will be displayed at the Expo. This cake was made to be photographed and featured at their booth!

I was given a theme and was told to run with it! I had a blast making this cake and am looking forward to working side by side with the Church for their weddings! What an honor!

Kid Safe Foundation

Kid Safe is an amazing organization that teaches children, as well as parents, about all aspects of safety. I was honored to have been asked to not only participate in the raffle, but to make a cake for their grand opening event! Teaching children about safety is so important and is very close to my heart! I am so proud to be associated with this one-of-a-kind Organization!
The golf theme was for Jon, a Kid Safe Board Member, who was celebrating his birthday the night of the event. I incorporated his interests into the cake all while keeping with the Kid Safe logo and theme.
