Don't like cake?

My best friend April does not eat cake, but wanted a "cake centerpiece" for a party she was having. This "cake" was decorated with protein bars and was an absolute blast to make!

Christmas Cake

My dear friend and co-worker Kaye hosts a beautiful Christmas party each year. This year, the theme was a beautiful white with silver. She asked me to make a basket weave cake to go with the color scheme.
The cake was a french vanilla with a white chocolate filling. The tree was made of poured sugar and painted an edible silver. Holly leaves were made of fondant.

Cat's Wedding

A big congratulations to Cat and Marcus!
Their wedding cake was a french vanilla with fresh orchids.
Such a classic, simple and beautiful cake!

Alice in Wonderland

For Bailey's birthday party, she chose an Alice in Wonderland theme. Her mom, my friend Amy, went all out with the decorating, so I wanted to make sure this cake was everything she wanted and more! This was a challenging but very fun cake to make and I was thrilled with the end result.

The cake was a french vanilla with vanilla buttercream and included a layer of red velvet cake with a cream cheese filling. The teapot was made of rice crispie treats and covered in fondant. All flowers and decorations were made from fondant and gum paste.

Cain Wedding

I had the privilege of making the wedding cake for Cheryl and Chris, who after 14 years, FINALLY got married! ;)
The cake was a french vanilla with vanilla buttercream. The flowers were all made from fondant and gum paste.

Longaberger Party

My friend Kaye was hosting a Longaberger Party and asked if I would make a basket cake for the event. This cake was a french vanilla with buttercream. My amazing mother was in town for this one and helped to make all the flowers for the top. Thank you, mom! I love you and credit ALL of my baking abilities to YOU!
Best part of all was that I received a "thank you basket" from Kaye! It is beautiful and I love it!
