This was a cake for my son, Mason's 5th birthday. (his actual birthday....his party is going to be Star Wars). He is very into firefighting and wanted a helmet cake. The cake was a french vanilla with vanilla buttercream frosting. The hat was covered in fondant and the decorations and the name were made out of gum paste. The cake was a huge hit for my little fireman!
